Workshop 4

Workshop 4: Religions and social cohesion

In order that religions take their full part in the building of social cohesion, they cannot restrict themselves to one social class nor to one community. How can it be arranged that their own resources are used for the benefit of all in solidarity, in building the world through work and a sense of justice? Can they be officially recognized as preferred partners for everything pertaining to humanitarianism and social justice? Which critical and stimulating role can they play in the entrepreneurial life? Either daily, by accepting the difference, or more generally by challenging a market driven and consumerist world?
